We are blessed with a number of tasty local breweries here in Hawai‘i. But every so often it’s nice to see what all the fuss is about over on the Mainland. Enter the Honolulu edition of America On Tap’s national tour, which features more than 130 American craft brews, live music, food and vendors. Everyone gets a souvenir sampling glass but VIP ticket holders also get an extra hour of drinking time (from 1 p.m.), food vouchers and a snazzy hat. Designated driver tickets include food and entry and are only $10 and sold at the door (even if the event is already sold out).
